EnviroMax is an all natural liquid soil treatment that can be applied directly to the soil or can be applied with most liquid fertilizers. The treatment improves soil structure, breaks up clay and compacted areas, and attracts nutrients and minerals making them available to the plant root. This happens because EnviroMax restores the pore space in the ground, resulting in a reduction of erosion, increased water penetration and retention, and better utilization of nutrients by the plants and grasses. During dry weather periods you can irrigate less often, saving money on the water bill. In very wet weather, standing water will no longer be a problem. EnviroMax works well on clay soil, but you may need more than one application to create the proper pore space in your soil. Apply EnviroMax per the directions, and then you may reapply using half the recommended dosage after 10 to 14 days. Be sure that you use the EnviroMax in the spring and fall if you have a clay soil. Repeat the application both times to ensure the effectiveness of the product. On sandy soils, EnviroMax aids in retaining nutrients for plant absorption, so less of the nutrients will leach. The product also aids in better utilization of water, so irrigation will be more efficient. This aids in protecting our water table, on both points.

2. WHAT IF I HAVE A HARDPAN LAYER, OR VERY TIGHTLY COMPACTED SOIL?
Usually one application will work. But in some cases, if the compacted area is deep, a second application may be necessary. A lot depends on your yard, and how compacted the soil is to begin with. To test this, you may insert a long screwdriver or rebar into the ground prior to treatment. Give the object a light push and measure the depth. About 7 to 10 days after the EnviroMax application, retake the test. You may apply EnviroMax as often as you like to achieve the depth of pore space you desire.

3.WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO APPLY ENVIROMAX TO A YARD?

The hose end sprayer that comes with the product applies the product at a ratio of 60 to 1. These sprayers allow you to control the amount of water used during your application. You should mentally divide up your yard into 1000 square foot areas (20 x 50 foot) in order to make your application more uniform. It should take 3 to 3 1/2 minutes to apply the product to each 1,000 square feet. Within 24 hours of applying the product, water it in with another 1/4 inch of water. You may use any sprayer you might have. Just be sure the product is diluted as it goes out, so the ratio is 60 parts of water to one part of EnviroMax.

4.IF IT IS GOING TO RAIN, CAN I STILL APPLY ENVIROMAX?

Yes, in fact rain right after an EnviroMax application is a benefit. The more water that is applied with the product, the better the product will work. You can even apply EnviroMax while it is raining.

5. WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY SPRAY TOO MUCH ENVIROMAX AND NOT ENOUGH WATER?

Water the area you sprayed with your garden hose. Be sure to cover the area generously with the water. You can apply as much as 600 parts of water to 1 part of EnviroMax, and the product will still be effective.

6. IF I HAVE A SEPTIC FIELD, WILL IT AFFECT THE OPERATION OF MY SEPTIC SYSTEM TO USE ENVIROMAX?

Do not use on clay tile septic systems. For those with other types of septic systems, EnviroMax will benefit them. Do not be concerned. If anything, your field should work at optimum efficiency after you have applied the product. We do make a product specifically designed for septic tanks, called SepticMaster. This product is what we recommend for maintenance on septic systems. It contains polyelectrolytes and enzymes for proper drainage and balance.

7. HOW DO I USE ENVIROMAX WITH MY FERTILIZER?

If you are using a dry fertilizer, spray one pint of EnviroMax over the fertilizer application and then water it in. If using a liquid fertilizer, then you mix the EnviroMax (25% EnviroMax and 75% fertilizer) prior to spraying. Use one pint of EnviroMax for every 5, 000 square feet of area. Be sure to water generously after the application.
