GENERAL INFORMATION:
ENVIROMAX FRUIT CLEANER is a liquid treatment for orchards to use during overhead cooling. The formula can be applied directly through the lines, and in all types of systems (for evaporative cooling, hydrocooling, or convective cooling). The formula will aid in reducing or eliminating formation of these minerals on the fruit and the leaves, if used as directed. Through regular use beginning with the initiation of the cooling process, fruit and leaves should be free of mineral deposits that will discolor, affect appearance, or transpiration. Fruit that has already begun to show signs of the formation of calcium or magnesium can be sprayed with a solution of ENVIROMAX FRUIT CLEANER to remove the formations from the fruit. Transpiration rate is greatly improved when there are no deposits on the leaves, improving the health of the fruit and the trees.

ENVIROMAX FRUIT CLEANER contains ingredients which reduce leaching of nutrients, aid in nutrient uptake and adsorption, & increase drainage. The formula is designed to disperse salts and enable irrigation water to move salts below the root zone. Various salts are present in irrigation water, and can be harmful or beneficial. However, in overhead cooling, calcium carbonates and calcium salts can cause discoloration and other problems. This formula changes the chemical bonds of the minerals themselves, thus changing the interaction of those minerals with the fruits, the soil, and their interactive processes. Soils will benefit from the reduced salinity, allowing for appropriate nutrient uptake, resulting in a better overall harvest. ENVIROMAX FRUIT CLEANER improves water percolation in the soil. Your fruit, such as apples, pears, apricots, cherries, plums, peaches, etc., will show visible results. Regular use of this cost effective product will keep the lines of your system clean and the orifices from mineral and other deposits. System maintenance costs may be reduced. When beginning to use overhead cooling or irrigation in highly mineralized water, start using the product to avoid deposits on the fruit or plants. Fruit marketability through improved appearance can be realized by regular use of the product.

DIRECTIONS FOR APPLICATION:
ENVIROMAX FRUIT CLEANER has achieved optimum results through consistent applications. This product may be used in conjunction with ENVIROMAX, for very compacted soils. Do not apply with herbicides or soil applied pesticides, without jar testing (see your dealer). This product is easy to use, and a safe alternative to some current practices. ENVIROMAX FRUIT CLEANER should be metered into the irrigation system using an injection metering device. If using with ENVIROMAX, meter both. The two products may be pre-mixed for ease of use.

APPLICATION RATES:
Use a range of 2 to 5 PPM of ENVIROMAX FRUIT CLEANER for adequate protection of fruit from calcium & other mineral deposits. Dosage will depend upon the amount of water per minute per acre, the soil type, and whether or not you are using ENVIROMAX in conjunction with this product. If calcium is already formed on the fruit, dose at 20 - 50 PPM to remove calcification. Consult your fieldman for proper timing and rates. A water test should be used prior to application for determining economic use of the product.
