Purpose of Trail:
To measure the difference in yield of cherry by weight between the treated (

in a range above an 80% level of confidence.
Methodology Description:
Utilization of GPS Technology for the allocation of the specific
testing sites. Longitude, latitude, and altitude information from GPS will be used
to correlate and monitor local and regional data to the site.
Specific Test Size:
There are four areas currently under test, and four more areas are
identified. Each area has multiple sites has 5 control trees and 5 test trees.
Areas are located in Venezuela.
Conditions:
Sites under test include mountainous terrain and flatland, different species and
variety of coffee, and shaded and non-shaded sites.
Selected plants for control and test have similar characteristics
for controlled comparisons.
Results:
Results will be presented at the SCAA in the spring of 1999.
